Boston 5 Weeks Old

My little man is so sweet and content.  He is eating a growing so well.  Brynnlee is still jealous but she loves him.  Lexie is a great help, some times a little to good.  We are all so in love with this little man.

Halloween

We went low key for Halloween this year.  Lexie wanted to be a witch again and Brynnlee didn't have a choice on what she wanted to be.  Leslie had a cheerleader costume so that is what she was.  Boston wore his Monster Inc. jammies and we called it good.
Lexie just starting out trick-or-treating
Lexie and Tess had a great time trick-or-treating together
Brynnlee was happy to wear anything as long as she got a tattoo on her face.

Brynnlee only went to the house that she knew who lived there.  She got tired and decided to take a break.  After hitting our little neighborhood Brynnlee, Boston and I went back home and handed out candy.  Lexie and JD kept going, Lexie
Although it was a very laid back Halloween we all had fun and enjoyed the great weather!

Carving Pumpkins

Having fun carving pumpkin!
Lexie loves cleaning out the pumpkins.
Brynnlee didn't want anything to do with the pumpkins so she just watched while eating chocolate.
Clay carved a dog face for Lexie on her pumpkin.
Kelsee did a old ol' jack-o-lantern face on Brynnlee's pumpkin.
I carved the Welcome on the white pumpkin (FYI never carve a white pumpkin they stink and it was like cutting through cement) JD did the Jazz logo on Boston's pumpkin.

First Snow of the Season

We had our first snow storm.  The girls were so excited they woke up around 6 AM and were ready to go out to play.  Lexie tried to build a snow man, but Indy kept getting in the way.  She also tried making snow angels, but Indy would walk all over them.  Brynnlee was content with eating snow and occasionally throwing snow at either Lexie or Indy.

Gardner Village

Me and the kids rode frontrunner down to Salt Lake where my mom picked us up and then we headed south.  We met Kim and her Kids and Tori in Sandy ate lunch and then went to Gardner Village.  We didn't realize that the whole state of Utah had the same idea as us.  The Village was so packed with people you couldn't really move or go into any of the stores.  So we just found all the witches on the girls lists and left.  We went back to Sandy and did a little shopping and then headed to Fairview for a long relaxing weekend.  Friday most of the family went to Hotel Transylvania in Nephi.  JD got there just in time to go with us.  After the movie we went to Spencer and Abby's to roast hot dogs and have s'mores.  Saturday all the guys went golfing and the girls went to the Holiday Boutique.  Sunday we had a birthday dinner for my mom.  It was a great weekend filled with food, family, movies, games and lots of fun!
We never did get a picture of all the kids together being happy.  This was an attempt that was an utter failure.
Lexie was the only kid who wanted her picture taken.  Brynnlee was a stinker and wouldn't get out of the stroller.

Pumpkin Patch

All summer Lexie and Brynnlee watch the pumpkins at the patch grow.  They get so excited every time we pass the patch.  When we told it was time to go pick out their pumpkins they could hardly contain their excitement!
So man y to choose from.  Lexie picked out a ghost pumpkin for JD and I to share.
Lexie picked out a big one for herself.
Brynnlee didn't want a big one, she wanted a tall one.  The girls picked out a baby one for Boston.

The farmer let each one pick out free gourd.  They wouldn't sit close together for a picture.
Brynnlee was not happy Lexie was this close to her. (what a stinker).

John Boston Parry

John Boston Parry was born on September 26th at 11:37 AM.  He weighed 5 lbs 15 oz and was 18 inches long.  He has been the best baby.  He has a very soft cry, he eats well, and sleeps really well.  At 2 weeks he weighed 6 lbs 7 oz!  He is growing and doing so well.  He sleeps 5 to 6 hours at night!  We all love him so much.

Proud big sister!
She was so excited to hold him.

All ready to go home!
Grandpa Cox and Boston

Brynnlee has had a hard time adjusting.  I have to hold her all the time and she hates when I nurse him.  Every now and then I let her feed him a bottle and she loves it.  She is getting a little better, hopefully with time she will be ok with not having all the attention.
Lexie is a great big sister.  She helps me so much.  If Boston even makes a little sound she is right by his side to see what he needs.  Now if only I trusted her to change diapers!
Boston is still light enough that Grandma V can hold him without it hurting her.  She could hold him for hours and keeps volunteering to babysit.  We actually took her up on it so we could go to a movie.  She held him the whole time and wasn't ready for us to take him.
