First Snow

On Saturday we got up on the roof to finish our Christmas lights and got down just as the snow started flying. Lexie was so excited. She couldn't wait for it to hit the ground to eat it. She was only out there for a couple of minutes before she realized it was freezing. She then came in the house and waited until there was some on the ground so she could run out every now and then to grab a handful to eat.
You can't really see the snow but I promise she is trying to catch it

Fall in the Park

Last week we spent the day at the park. It was gorgeous weather and Lexie really needed to get out of the house. She was so excited to play in the leaves and on the swings. I guess it was really good to get one last outing in before the snow starts flying.

Lexie loves to hang on things and tries to do flips. She is actually pretty good.

Lexie is now tall enough to get on the swing by herself, too bad she hit the growth spurt now and not when I was 8 months prego lifting her on the swing.
Brynnlee, the sun was bright I couldn't get her to open her eyes.
Lexie was sure cheesing it but wouldn't open her eyes.

Brynnlee

Baby B is finally eating and growing. She made it onto the charts a couple of weeks ago so no more weight checks! She is now way bigger than Lexie's dolls (this does not keep Lexie from treating her like one). Lexie loves to change diapers, dress her and of course help me feed her. Lexie always volunteers to watch her and make her happy. We are still being careful where we take her, but Brynnlee is doing great.

Early Morning Birthday Breakfast

Today is JD's mom's birthday. The whole family went out to breakfast at 6:30 this morning to help her celebrate. The surprising thing, all the kids were happy and behaved really well.
Oh yeah, it is early.

Halloween and Soccer in Boise

For Halloween this year we went to Boise to watch JD's little brother Clay play soccer. It was a little chilly but we had a good time. Lexie still got to dress up and go trick or treating. We just found a nice neighborhood with kids walking around. She loved it and was so excited to get lots of candy. Clay's team took 1st place in the tournament and qualified for Nationals. It was a fun little get-a-way.

Trying to get a normal picture of Lexie is getting harder and harder. She thinks she is hilarious and pulls funny faces right before we snap the picture.

Carving Pumpkins

We had a great time carving pumpkins this year. Lexie was not to thrilled about getting her hands dirty but after a little bribing she did it.
