Easter

We had a fabulous Easter weekend. We went to St. George hoping we would have warm weather, we were not disappointed. I took hundreds of pictures and the girls had a blast. We went mountain biking, which turned out to take longer than expected. Thank you Tina for watching the kids. We thought we were being really smart dropping a car off at the end of the trail so we wouldn't have to ride back up the trail. (this is what you would call lazy mountain biking) Well it would have been smart to take the keys to that car with us instead of leaving them in the car at the start of the trail! We got to the end of the trail and couldn't get into the car. So JD headed back up the trail to get the car. Kim and I headed back riding on the road. It was a great workout, but next time we will remember the keys.
We went golfing, yes my first time this year. I played horrible, when I say horrible I am not exaggerating. My ball managed to find the smallest sand trap ever! Golf is that stupid game were it can suck the whole time and then you hit that one perfect shot that feels so good, so of course it keeps you coming back. Luckily we played best ball and JD had a great game. It was so nice to be outside and doing something, so I will take a horrible game and nice weather.
We did a little shopping, played games, went swimming and then had to come home to awful depressing weather. On our way home Lexie kept saying "It would be so awesome to live in St. George. Why do we have to leave nice weather?"
We are so ready for Spring/Summer at our house!
We went to the water park on Main Street and let the girls play.
They played for about an hour and would have stayed longer if we let them.
Once Brynnlee got in the water it was so hard to get her out.
Parry Girls
The whole fam
We did an eater egg hunt for the girls on Saturday
Brynnlee caught on really fast.
Pleased with the outcome.
Yeah, we may have went overboard on the eggs and candy.
They had some much fun. Now what to do with all that candy?
B went down this slide over and over again all by herself. She is getting so big and independent.
She loves to copy dad. The only way to get her off the slide was to have her copy dad.
Payton and Lexie have so much fun playing together.
I just thought this was a great picture.
Decorating and dying eggs, messy but entertaining.
B loved the baskets themselves more than what was in them.
The Easter Bunny hid Lexie's basket really good this year. It took her a while to find it, but she eventually did. Her favorite things were gum and dart guns.
We went to the park to enjoy the weather. B loved throwing the ball at Casey.

She may be little . . .

But she sure is a handful!
Can this sweet little face cause so much trouble, seriously look how sweet and innocent she looks!
I say to you "YES"! She is into everything. I thought Lexie was a busy body and into everything. Well I was wrong, Brynnlee is into everything! She never just stops and sits. She is constantly going and moving.
I was getting ready for church yesterday. She was out of my site for maybe 3 minutes and I come out to find this! Yes, my kitchen chair covered in PERMANENT marker. Thank goodness for Mr. Clean Magic Eraser got it right off.

This is what I get . . .

For trying to do yoga at home! I would love to say I was so into my yoga (you know you are suppose to block everything out yoga mind). I am sure it had nothing to do with I am ignoring my kids even though they are being quiet (which is never a good thing) mind set. After I finished my yoga, yes I did finish they weren't screaming or anything. I walked into Brynnlee's room to find this . . . .
This is all the clothes in her closet, all the clothes in her dresser and even some of Lexie's clothes
The pile is a whole lot higher than it looks in this picture
I made Lexie start hanging up clothes, the closet was actually all the way empty.
So the moral to my story at least they weren't painting the walls!

Neighborhood Girls and Makeup

Last week Lexie recruited the neighbor girls to come over and draw with sidewalk chalk. They didn't last long drawing, I walk in the house and they are all in the bathroom putting on makeup. Lexie does this all the time, but it was cute to see them put it on each other. I was just really hoping their moms wouldn't mind. They all actually did a pretty good job getting it on the right places.
Emily modeling her makeup
Maddi was really excited about the blush and lipstick.
The bigger girls made sure the littler girls looked good too!
Elise looked like she had done this before.
Lexie loves when friends are over, especially if they will do makeup and build forts with her!

Girls Night Out!

This post is a little over due, but I just found my little camera. We finally got together with our friends Crystal and Addy. They moved in November, yes it took months to finally get together. Claudy and Maddi, Lexie and I and Crystal and Addy all went out for pizza and bowling. Addy and Maddi were pretty shy at first, but don't worry Lexie did enough talking for all three girls. The girls warmed up while bowling and then we couldn't get them to be quiet. I loved just having time to catch up with friends. I forgot how much fun just having girls time is!
We ate at Pizzeria (Lexie's favorite)
We went bowling at Fat Cats
The girls were more excited about getting balloons than bowling.
All I can say is that is better not take months and months before we get together again!
