I have been a blog slacker lately, but not by choice my computer was on the fritz. Anyway here is a quick update on what we have been up to.
We are expecting another baby! We are guessing around April. We will get a due date at the end of the month. We are excited, Lexie really needs some competition at home.
We have been working in our back yard to trying to get the lawn looking good again. Good news, it is greening up, bad news, it takes so much work.
We were able to spend Labor Day weekend in Paris with JD's family. We had a great time. JD was able to ride around the lake while Lexie and I played on the beach. Believe it or not the beach was not Lexie's favorite place. She would rather be with the horses. She was Grandpa Parry's best friend the whole weekend because he would take her out to the horses. Every day she woke up at 6 AM and would say "horse, horse, side" which meant she wanted to go outside to the horses. We went to the arena one night and let her ride, she was in heaven and really ticked when we went home. She also learned this weekend that she loves 4-wheelers. Her favorite was to ride in the horse corral so she could be on a 4-wheeler and see the horses at the same time. She learned to say most of the horses names and loves feeding them.
Lexie riding all by herself
She was excited to be in the water again even though it was chilly
This is what she looked liked every morning, jammies, shoes and horses
To me Lexie has grown up so much in the past couple weeks. I don't know if I am just realizing she won't be my baby anymore (just being prego and hormonal) or if she has really changed. We bought her a little toilet seat which she sits on at least 10 times a day. She does really go in it once a day, so she is growing up. She is talking a lot more too. JD can get her to say anything. She is very observant and copies everything we do. It just kind of makes me sad that my baby is growing up.
