Full Moon

Last Friday night we were bored, luckily our neighbors John and Kamille called and suggested going up to Snowbasin. We jumped at the idea, I had never been on the gondola and the star gazers had their telescopes set up at the top. It was a beautiful night. We were able to look at the moon and Jupiter. We saw 4 of Jupiters moons. I had never been to the lodge up top, it is amazing. It turned out to be a great night for having no plans.
P.S. the picture does not do the moon justice. It was huge but it turned out so small in every picture we took.

Brynnlee's stroller and bag

Brynnlee got this stroller from my mom for her birthday. She is obsessed with her little bag that carries diapers and wipes. She carries it all day until I take it away.
She climbs on it and even tries to take a little nap
She tries to climb in it, don't worry the bag is safely in the stroller, unlike my child.
Yes, she does walk with it sometimes. Notice the bag

Lexie's First Day of Preschool

Lexie's first day of preschool. She was so excited. I had her clothes laid out on her bed for her, she saw them and said "Mom, I don't want to wear those." I asked why they were her new school clothes. She said, "get down all my new ones and I will pick what I want." So I did and she picked her dress which she informed me "was so pretty because that is what I told everyone". This girl amazes me she really listens to everything even if she is not suppose to.

Her backpack is as big as she is but she loves it!

Labor Day and Lagoon

This Labor Day we spent the weekend with my family in Salt Lake. We had my cousin Jenny's wedding which was beautiful. We stayed at Little America and played games all night. We hit some church history sites. The cemetery where the Prophets are buried was the best. On Monday we went to Lagoon. This was the best time I have ever had at Lagoon. The weather was perfect and so were the kids. Lexie loved the kid rides, we took her around with her cousins Payton and Emma Kate. These three girls had a ball. Lexie tried really hard to hold her hands up on every ride even the swings! We got on a couple of adult rides but it was a lot more fun watching the girls go on their rides.
JD and Lexie on Puff
Best train ride ever. We went right when we got there all the animals were up and moving. The white tiger roared at us (really roared at us). The male lion was awake and just right there we could almost touch him (not that we tried). The tigers were up and walking. We saw all the animals it was awesome.

Take Me Out To The Ball Game

Raptors games are one thing we enjoying doing in the summer. Lexie loves the peanuts and slushies. Brynnlee loves being out side and walking along the chairs.

Carnival

JD and I are the chairmans of our wards activity committee. We just helped with our Stake Fall Festival. This year we did a Carnival. We had slushies, cotton candy, popcorn, hotdogs, nachos and lemonade. We also had a photo-booth, all the carni games you can think of and even one you could win a fish at. Well we missed a planning meeting while I was at girls camp and got put in charge of the cotton candy machine. Note to self: NEVER miss a planning meeting! We spun cotton candy in the wind for 2 1/2 hours. A really nice guy in our stake saw the mess the wind was making and brought us a lid from his machine. Man that saved us. We had cotton candy everywhere. The Condies came and took the girls around to all the games for us. They even helped Lexie win a gold fish. She named it nemo, we forgot to feed it and it died a couple days later. She wasn't too sad and was really excited to flush it down the toilet. All in all it was a great event.

Flying a Kite

JD was trying to teach Lexie how to fly a kite. We didn't have enough time to go to a park so we tried our back yard. It worked pretty good because it was pretty windy. Lexie loved every minute of it. Brynnlee was quite happy too.
