At the beginning of July JD qualified for a trip to San Francisco. We decided to make it a family trip and take the girls. They were so good. We had really long days, with lots of walking and didn't always eat what the where use to. Lexie did get and walked the whole time. We bought a new stroller for Brynnlee right before we left and it turned out to be a life saver. We decided not to rent a car and use all the public transportation, which turned out to be fantastic. I think riding all of the cable cars, trolleys and trains were the girls favorite part. I knew it was going to be chilly but it was freezing. We ended up buying the girls really nice jackets and Lexie a hat. There was one day we were able to take off our jackets. If we ever go to San Fran again it will not be in June, July or August. Their summer doesn't start until September. We ate some pretty great food, pizza in Little Italy was fantastic, we found some pretty good breakfast places and of course sourdough bread, clam chowder and crab legs on Pier 39. All in all we had a fun time, it was a city worth seeing.

| We spent a little time at the California Academy of Sciences. There were some amazing things to see there, but all the girls wanted to do was watch the baby ostriches. |

| The snakes were moving like crazy, I hated them but JD and the girls watched them for awhile. |

| Bad picture, but these jelly fish were awesome. They changed with the lights and were just so relaxing to watch. I want a tank of jelly fish in my bedroom. |

| Brynnlee and I walked through the rain forest while JD and Lexie went to a laser show. Brynnlee was posing until this butterfly landed too close to her. She did try to catch it and we got in trouble. She was mad she couldn't touch them because they were everywhere. |

| Can't go on a trip without hitting a baseball game. We went to the Gaints game. We had a great time. I was a little nervous about the weather, but it turned out to be great. Lexie ate a huge bag a cotton candy all by herself. The people behind us where dying because she was just shoving it in. |

| We scalped tickets which wasn't a bad idea (we have done it every other place we have been), but I am pretty sure we paid more than we should have. Oh, well live and learn. |

| The girls weren't big fans of Alcatraz, but it was something JD and I really wanted to do. |

| Lexie was goo for the first 30 mins and then got really bored. JD and I loved the headphone guided tour. It was really interesting. |

| It took about 5 ins to talk Lexie into going into the cell with me. She was terrified. I am pretty sure this scared her from ever breaking the law! |

| We walked Fishermans Wharf 2 or 3 times. We all were entertained by the street performers. I loved the break dancers. The Silver and Gold men terrified the girls. |

| This bus was a great way to see the city, I would do it again just not with this company. I would go with the red buses. |

| We asked Lexie what the one things she wanted to do before we went home was. She said she wanted to walk on the red bridge. So that is what we did. It was pretty cool. We didn't make it all the way across but we made it far enough to have the experience. |
