Christmas 2011

We had a great Christmas.  We were in Fairview for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.  Christmas  Eve we did my moms traditional soup and rolls dinner.  It is the only time we get to eat in the nice dining room with real china and crystal.  The kids love it, oh who am I kidding I love it just as much.  Then my dad read the Chirstmas story and the kids got to use finger puppets Tina made to act it out.  After an awesome story by my mom about the picture of Christ that President Monson has hanging in his office, the kids got to open their jammies from Grandpa and Grandma.  The kids went to bed fairly early but the rest of us stayed up and chatted for way too long.  Especially because I am like a little kid and couldn't sleep all night.  I was just to dang excited.  Lexie woke up at 2:30 and wanted to open presents.  I made her go back to bed until 6:30, not because I wasn't awake but because everybody else was still sleeping.
Cousins in new pj's.
Playing in the coin jar, their very favorite thing to do.
B's modeling her jammies.
Christmas morning doesn't know what to think about things.
Lexie jumped right into opening presents.
She was excited about everything but the clothes.  Her favorite was the hair feathers and beads.
Brynnlee got into the swing of things with dads help.
Getting another present, she would only open them if she was sitting on JD's lap.
Boots not too exciting.

Mom and Dad reading the Reunion Book we made them.

And of course the funny face picture
Opening presents at Grandma and Grandpa Parry's.
She opened them like a seasoned veteran.
Lexie opening presents wearing here beautiful hair feathers.
Lots of new earrings and a jewelry box.
We had a wonderful Christmas.  It is so much more fun when you have little ones that are so excited about everything (except clothes)!  Merry Christmas!

Christmas Season

We had a whirl wind of parties and lots of visits with Santa.
Lexie and Brynnlee listening as Santa tells them a story at the Ryan Family Christmas Party.
Lexie and Payton helping Santa lead a Christmas song.
Brynnlee trying to hide with Dad when Santa came.

Brynnlee was brave enough to sit on Santa's lap long enough to get a present and then she was out of there.

Caroling with the Young Men and Women.  Lexie was so excited to go with me.
Merry Christmas from Brynnlee.
All ready for the big day!  Lexie woke up 2 times on Friday night asking if she could open presents.  She definitely takes after her mother when it comes to Christmas.
Lexie and the cute shirt she made in Pre-school.

Randomness

Brynnlee is still a mess and into everything.  She dumped out the box and then ate all the marshmallows!
The girls were invited to Berklie's Tea Party!  Brynnlee would not stay in her dress and was really mad until the grapes came out.  Lexie was happy to get jewelry and a crown.  Cutest tea party I have ever been to.
One week Lexie and I were both not feeling well so Dad brought home flowers for both of us.  This is Lexie with her flower, in its own vase.  She didn't want me to put it in the same vase as mine because it was hers!
Lately Brynnlee loves hanging out on my bed and playing the ipad.  She won't watch TV or movies but she will play the ipad for hours.

National Championships in Arizona

We went to support Clay in Arizona again this year.  I am a little bummed this was his last year.  Any excuse to go to Arizona for the weekend is so worth the warm weather and no kids!  My sister Brandi was nice enough to watch my girls again this year.  We drove through the night and got there early Thursday morning in time for the first game.  We lounged around and watched soccer and shopped in between.  A very relaxing adult trip with no kids!
Weber State National Champions!  Won in a shoot out, it was intense!
