Camping in Goblin Valley

We went CAMPING! We really did, and we had a blast. We went to Goblin Valley with my family over the weekend. I do have to say the camp ground was really nice. It had showers and bathrooms. We had the group campsite, so we had our own little cove a way from all the other campers. My parents rented an RV and were kind enough to let JD and I sleep in it with them. Lexie and Payton were excited to ride in the RV and did pretty well on the long ride down. The campsite had a big pavilion and picnic tables which saved our food from the rain on Saturday night. Saturday is the only day that it rained, it came out of know where and poured. The rest of the time the weather was great just a little windy. We hiked Little Wild Horse Canyon. It was seriously one of the funnest hikes I have been on in a long time. It is slot canyons and it was easy enough that I could do it and my dad could do it without putting strain on his heart. We enjoyed lots of family time and the great outdoors. Thanks to everyone for going and making it fun. Following is an overload of pictures. ENJOY!

Disney Train

Yesterday, Crystal and I decided to take the kids to the "Christmas Carol Disney Train". We had really good intentions but when we got there the wait was 3 hours to get in. It was hot and with three little kids we decided they wouldn't know what they missed. We rode the Jupiter train and let them play in the fountain. They were happy with that so we left. It would have been cool to see everything, but 3 hours is just plain crazy.

Summer Time at the Pool

Wednesday we went to the pool for the first time of the summer. Lexie was so excited she had a hard time waiting in line to pay. When we finally got in there she didn't even want to take off her shoes before running in. She still loves the water but is a little more cautious when she is wearing her life jacket than when she is not. This is so backwards but we will see how she does throughout the summer. She is convinced that the big pool is way more fun than the little kids pool. She wants to jump in and kick and swim like a big girl. I would rather just sit and watch her in the kiddy pool but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. We met my friend Lindsay and her kids there. Lexie had a lot of fun with Sammie.

Yes, they are really posing, what cute girls

Biking with Daddy

Monday when JD came home for lunch he told Lexie he would take her on a bike ride when he got home from work. This was at 3:00. She ran and put her helmet on and wore it until 6:00 when JD got home. She got his bike shoes and helmet ready for him too. All I heard for three hours is how her and daddy were going on a bike ride. She was so stinkin' excited. She did great on the ride, only complaining that it was a little bumpy. The last couple of days she will just sit in the trailer with her helmet on and pretend they are going for a ride. She sure does love doing anything with her daddy.

Puppies and Ice Cream

Jerzi, Monette's beagle had 7 puppies. Lexie begs everyday to go up and see them. This has been a great bargaining tool. She will do anything if I tell her she can go see the puppies. So at least every other day we go and play with the puppies. The puppies are for sale so if you want one let me know.

This is one of the puppies about 4 days old

Cute puppy, they are about 6 weeks old

Lexie would take a bite for herself and then give the puppy a bite. I know really gross but cute.

They just keep getting cuter and cuter

Lexie doesn't let them get to far away from her.

We had ice cream and obviously we she didn't get enough she started dishing up her own.

Putting it in a bowl took too long, eating right out of the carton is so much faster
