Summertime and T-ball!

Such a cute girl!
Lexie could hang out side with Indy all day!  Indy is the best babysitter.

Lexie didn't love t-ball, it was a little to slow for her.

She did really like to hit, she liked to be the first batter or the last batter .  She thought it was pretty cool to hit a homerun.  I think it was more that she didn't have to wait on the bases for the other kids to hit the ball.

Aquarium

My parents came up to spend the night and we decided to hit the Aquarium while my dad was in meetings.  Brandi and her kids met us there.  JD decided to take the day off and hangout with us, which was nice.  The girls love when dad can come with us to cool things (things are always better when dad comes).
Lexie and Brynnlee touched the Manta Rays.
Lexie would smile for me, but Brynnlee on the other hand would not pull away from the fish tanks for a picture.

They loved the penguins.  We could have watched them for hours and the kids would have loved every minute of it.

Brynnlee pushed everyone off the frog . . .
So we did the picture without her!

Surprise!

Coming in October!

Lagoon

For Christmas JD bought us all Season Passing to Lagoon.  We went for a couple hours on Saturday and boy is it going to be a fun summer.
Lexie waiting in the only line we had to all day!
JD and Lexie on the Lady Bug Plop.  Lexie loves rides.

This was the first ride Brynnlee has ever been on and she LOVED it.  She didn't want to get off.

Lexie was really good to sit with Brynnlee on the more scary rides.
Lexie loves this roller coaster, Brynnlee was a little scared but when she got off she was ready to go again.

Had to hold dads hand on the Merry-go-round.
We had a great day, no lines, not very many people and 2 very happy kids!

Lexie is 5!

Lexie's is 5!  The day before her birthday she asked if her birthday could start now, so she could tell me what to do!  She was pretty sure that when it is your birthday everybody has to do anything you tell them to.  She was so excited for her birthday it was hard for her to sleep.  She woke up and ask to go to breakfast at Jeremiah's, because they give you the biggest cinnamon roll for your birthday.  She didn't even let the waitress take our order before she told her it was her birthday!  After breakfast we went home and got ready for tumbling and she got to open her presents from mom and dad.
At her birthday breakfast with daddy.

Opening presents.
She got a bat, mit, and tee to practice her tee ball.
She got the Orbeez she has wanted forever!

She wanted a flower cake with butterflies on it.  It took me forever to find the right kind of butterflies that she wanted.  I finally found them at Lee's and Wansgards bakery.

5 years old
What a poser!  She picked out her own birthday outfit.  My sister Winter made the tutu and Lexie picked out the rest, even the shoes.

When it is her idea she loves pictures.

Lexie's Field Trips

Lexie's preschool class went on a field trip to the Tree House Museum.  Brynnlee and I tagged along for some fun (we also took Ali and Camilla).  Brynnlee loved every bit of it.  Lexie just wanted to ride the horses and color.
Both of them smiling at the same time!
Brynnlee loves to drive!
Lexie played in the horse area for about 30 minutes.  This little girl loves horses and can not wait to start riding this summer.  She is excited to have a saddle her size.
Lexie was one of the Billy Goats in The Billy Goats Gruff.

Her class also took a field trip to Wansgards.  They took them all over the store.  The favorite place was the bakery because they got cookies.

Snow Shoeing

JD and I finally found a day with enough snow to go snow shoeing.  It was our first time and it was fun.  We went up Pole Patch and walked to the Elk Farm.  We took our time and enjoyed the scenery.  I can see how it would be really fun will a couple more feet of snow.  I guess that will have to wait until next year.

JD actually letting me take a picture of him!!
It was quite the walk, we didn't realize the way there was all slightly downhill, until we started back and it was slightly uphill the whole way!  We got a good little workout in.
