She is here! She did decide she wanted to come early. Brynnlee was born on Sunday July 26th at 12:41 PM. She weighed 5 lbs 6 oz and was 17 inches long. Lexie is a very proud and helpful big sister. She never wants to leave her side, hopefully this will wear off soon.

Baby Nursery

We finally got the baby's room done. Well it is painted and I finished the crib set. No pictures or decorations yet, but that will all come with time. I made the crib set because I really wanted purple, green and brown and couldn't find a set that I liked. I am still working on a cover for the rocking chair, someday it will be done.
We still don't have a named for our baby and the time is getting close so feel free to give us any suggestions.

She loves the babies room and wants to sleep in the crib with the baby.

July 4th

This year for the 4th of July we spent a long weekend at Bear Lake. It was a gorgeous weekend. The weather was perfect and it was just a relaxing weekend. I took Lexie to the Paris parade while JD went golfing. She liked it once she caught on to the fact that she could have all the candy they were throwing. It was the shortest parade I have ever been to. They go up one side of main street and then come down the other. We spent two days at the beach, with the kids never getting bored.

Family Working Together

This year was the perfect year to do something for my dad he couldn't do himself. He recently had a heartattck and a stent put in. He is on doctors orders not to put any strain on his heart. So this year for Father's Day we decided to dig out the grass around all the trees in their yard so they can put bark down. Dad has wanted this done since they moved in about 6 years ago. For those of you who don't know, my parents built a house in the orchard on the farm. Hence all the trees. We started out thinking every adult could dig around 2 trees and that would get about 30 trees done. Well I think they ended up doing around 50 or so trees with about 20 to go. I say "they" because I didn't do much digging, I did however help pick up and load the sod after it had been cut. Hopefully this will cut down on the yard work and keep it looking nice.

Camping in Goblin Valley

We went CAMPING! We really did, and we had a blast. We went to Goblin Valley with my family over the weekend. I do have to say the camp ground was really nice. It had showers and bathrooms. We had the group campsite, so we had our own little cove a way from all the other campers. My parents rented an RV and were kind enough to let JD and I sleep in it with them. Lexie and Payton were excited to ride in the RV and did pretty well on the long ride down. The campsite had a big pavilion and picnic tables which saved our food from the rain on Saturday night. Saturday is the only day that it rained, it came out of know where and poured. The rest of the time the weather was great just a little windy. We hiked Little Wild Horse Canyon. It was seriously one of the funnest hikes I have been on in a long time. It is slot canyons and it was easy enough that I could do it and my dad could do it without putting strain on his heart. We enjoyed lots of family time and the great outdoors. Thanks to everyone for going and making it fun. Following is an overload of pictures. ENJOY!
