Gunnison Res

On the 5th we went out to Gunnison Res on my uncle Branch's boat. It was a blast. I was able to wake board for the first time this year. It was so fun. JD was still as good as ever, even though he hasn't done it for a long time. Lexie was even able to do a little something. She loved it.

Camping

We finally went camping. Lexie has wanted to go camping since it stopped snowing. We went up and got a spot Friday afternoon. I then made it up there in time to cook our tin foil dinners! Morris and Janeen came and ate dinner with us. We roasted marshmallows and sat around the fire. Lexie was in heaven with the little stream that ran through our camp. She did fall in more than once. Her shoes and clothes were soaked by the end of the night. She was one happy camper. Brynnlee didn't love the fact that she couldn't crawl anywhere. She was happy to go to bed just she didn't have to be held anymore. I was all geared up for an early morning thinking the sun would wake up the girls. Well I was wrong they slept until 9. JD cooked eggs and pancakes and then we left for a little hike. We hiked to a waterfall, it was a good little hike and perfect for Lexie and JD's sprained ankle. We got back to camp and cleaned up and left. Lexie was sad to be leaving, so we will definitely be camping again soon.

Paris and girls get-a-way

When we got home from Fairview, me and the girls decided to join Leslie and Janeen in Paris. We went up Tuesday and just relaxed for a couple of days. We hung out at the beach and parks. We watched movies, went on walks and 4-wheeler rides. It was so nice just to really do nothing.

We went to Montpelier for a picnic. Lexie over came her fear over climbing chain ladders and going down the fireman pole. She also loved the horse swings.

4th of July

We were down in Fairview for the 4th. We went to the Breakfast my mom helps with in Mt. Pleasant and then hung out in the shade until the parade started. Lexie did much better getting candy at this parade then she did at the Founder's Day parade. Brynnlee just hung out in her stroller trying to sleep. The girls went home and started getting things ready for Casey's birthday BBQ while the boys went golfing. Later that night we lit off a couple firecrackers. The little kids loved it. Lexie especially liked the sparklers.

6 days, 6 nights, 6 kids!

I had my sisters 4 kids for a week. Yes, that means I had 6 kids for 6 days and 6 nights. I don't think I have been that wore out for a long time. We did lots of fun things while they were here. We went swimming with Louise at her parents house. We went to the Splash Pad in Riverdale. We went to the Raptors game. We went to the Founder's Day parade and a little carnival. We went to the fireworks at Weber High. We went to Leslie's and played in the water. We tried to stay busy and I think we succeeded.

Father's Day

JD had a great Father's Day. He got presents and breakfast and then went to church. After church we went to his parents house were he didn't have to do anything. I BBQ shish-kabobs (don't know how to spell that). Lexie made a candy poster for him with all of his favorite candy. Lexie was so excited to give it to him. The first thing she did when she woke up was run out of her room carrying this huge poster board with candy falling off. She started crying thinking she ruined dads present. I helped her fix it and she was just fine.
