Disney On Ice

Back in November Lexie and I went to Disney On Ice.  I think she really liked it, but mostly because she was with her cousins.  I don't think she would have enjoyed it as much if it was just her and I.  We had a great time going to lunch and talking with the girls.

I should have thought to let her wear her princess dress.
She was determined at Apple Bee's to get this flag, I think that was her favorite souvenir.
The only way to get Lexie to smile lately is to do a funny face picture after a good one.
Enjoying the way way way over priced snowcone.
At the end all the princesses came out, even Mulan.  Lexie was thrilled.

Brynnlee's 1st haircut

My little sister Tori came up to do my hair and we decided B needed a little trim.
At first Brynnlee was excited and really good!

Once she pulled this face I knew the good act was coming to an end quickly!

I tried bribing with Lexie's Leapster, worked for about 30 seconds.

I bribed with my camera which worked for about 2 minutes!

I have about 50 pictures just like this one.  Oh well it was worth the 2 minutes of cooperation!

Ok, so you really can't tell she got a hair cut, but it really does look better.

First Snow Fall

It finally snowed enough for the girls to go out and play.  Lexie was disappointed it hadn't snowed enough to go tubing, but quickly got over it when she realized there was enough to make snow angels. Brynnlee was happy to just be outside!
It took Brynnlee awhile to get use to being cold and realize it is fun to play in the cold wet snow.
Lexie was thrilled it finally snowed enough to play in.

She finally realized it is fun to throw snow at Lexie.

My Birthday Weekend

Better late than never.  For my birthday we went out for breakfast at CJ's, took our time getting ready and packed for Paris.  JD took the day off work and we took our time driving up to Idaho.  We stopped at Pepperidge Farms and bought lost of gold fish and cookies.  We ate lunch at the Korean BBQ place in Logan (which is fantastic)!  We stopped and got some Aggie Icecream.  When we finally made it to Paris we relaxed and did nothing.  We went on a couple short 4-wheeler rides with the girls and played at the park.  On Saturday we went over to the Bear Lake cabin and closed everything up.  We played at the lake for a little while.  On Sunday we sat around in our jammies and watched conference.  All in all it was a great relaxing birthday weekend.

We stopped at North Shore to play on the dock.
Brynnle loves the sand and water.
She did care that the water was freezing.

Lexie didn't make a sound once we got to the beach.  Sand and water is her paradise.
All the kids on the dock
I happen to have the best husband ever.  He bought me the bosch mixer that I have wanted for over 3 years now.  I love it and was so excited and surprised because he gave it to me on Monday when we got home from Paris.  He also bought me a spot in a wheat bread class that I absolutely loved.  I am so excited to actually make a great loaf of wheat bread now.  I was so surprised about the mixer because the week before my birthday we bought me a mountain bike for my birthday.  I am sad to say we haven't had the chance to ride it yet, but it will happen.  I love living near the mountains and hope to take a little more time to take advantage of that.  Thank you JD, you are the best.

Halloween

Our little ladybug!
Beautiful butterfly
Our little bugs ready for trick-or-treating!  B and I made it to a couple houses and then came home to pass out candy.  JD and Lexie walked all over the neighborhood.  Lexie was pooped when they got home, but was totally happy with all the candy she got.
Lexie loved her costume, mostly because of her makeup and sparkles.  We redid her makeup a couple times and she loved every minute of it.
Brynnlee made it to a couple of houses trick-or-treating and she even said "trick-or-treat".
Checking out the loot!

RSL Playoff Game

On Saturday night we went to the RSL playoff game against Seattle.  It was a great game.  We were expecting to freeze, but it wasn't to bad with four layers on.  Good food, great game and great company!  Hopefully we can make it to their next playoff game.

UEA in St George

Over UEA break we went down to St. George.  Lexie and I
went to The Little Mermaid at Tuacahn.  It was amazing, Lexie loved it.  JD ran the Vegas Ragnar with my brother Spencer and his wife Abby. He said it wasn't as good as the Wasatch Back, but they all survived and finished.  While he was running the girls and I relaxed and had loads of fun.  We played at the park, watched movies, went shopping and out to eat.

Casey took one for Mom.  Mom wasn't feeling up to sitting on the saddle for her birthday so we told them it was Casey's birthday!
Brynnlee loves the water park.  It was a little chilly but she didn't mind at all.
Lexie on the carousel, she loves anything to do with horses.
