Update on the Girls

We went to the Doctor on Friday and Brynnlee has finally gained weight. It almost took a month but she has finally past her birth weight. She now weighs 5 lbs 13 oz! We still have to feed her every two hours, but it is not as stressful now that I know she is gaining weight. We have to continue to give her the high calorie formula for a couple more months.

Lexie has been having a hard time with me feeding her so often. She really feels left out and is starting to act up to get attention. It seems she always waits until I am feeding Brynnlee to ask me to do something with her or help with something. She scribbled all over the back of our couch one day while I was feeding. The next day she scribbled all over he table cloth. The next day I get to the kitchen just in time to stop her, she was about to pour milk on cearel she had gotten herself. She has decided she is big when she wants to be, and a baby when I need her to do something. She totally knows how to work the system.

Lexie still gets excited to hold Brynnlee. She loves to help me change her diapers and dress her. She always has to wear the same color of pajamas as Brynnlee. She loves to take pictures of her and has started to try to pick Brynnlee up by herself.

Both of our girls are doing great, we are so happy and getting use to having two.
