Our annual Cox Family Reunion was at Bear Lake this year. My little sister Tori was in charge and did a fabulous job. We stayed in a very spacious but weird house. No complaints it worked well for what we needed. We had a great view of the lake and early morning sun rises. We spent 2 days at the lake. We were lucky and got a really good spot on the beach. The water is so high there is not much beach to play on. We rode jet ski's, played bocci ball and badminton, and of course played scrum.
I took Lexie out on the jet ski and taught her how to do donuts. She was fearless. She would go full speed and then just whip it. She wanted to show dad so when one was free all three of us went out. She punches it and goes to turn, well I didn't exactly take into consideration the extra weight of JD on the back. He bailed off hoping we
would stay on. Well no such luck. Not only did we got over the jet ski tipped up side down and the seat came off. This is a bad thing! Since the seat came off the machine filled with water. I held on to Lexie and made sure she was okay. She came up out of the water saying "sorry, sorry, sorry." Poor little girl was so devastated thinking it was her fault. I calmed her down while JD tried to get the machine going. Lexie suggested we say a prayer because we couldn't get the machine going. She said the sweetest prayer ever. And 2 minutes later 2 girls on a jet ski stopped and took Lexie and I back to the shore and then went to tow JD in. Thankfully Lexie laughs about it now and thinks it is really funny she threw us all off and she can't wait to do it again. Hopefully we can
get the machine going again.
We played minute-to-win-it which JD and my mom tied for the trophy.
On the way home we played chicago ball at the park in Garden City. We had a great time with the family and can't wait until next year.
We stopped at Bear Lake Pizza and got the "Old Ephraim". It was huge!
