My Poor Flowers . . . Oh what cute kids

What cute girls, Brynnlee now holds her bottle all by herself!
Brynnlees new favorite thing, riding Lexies horse. Lexie is always excited to share with her, but only if she can ride it too!
Brynnlees favorite toy, my camera case. I know weird, but out of all her toys this one keeps her entertained the longest.

My poor tulips and daffodils were ruined by the hail storm we had last week. I thought they would be okay, but most of them were completely broke off.

JD is 30

Last week was JD's 30th Birthday! It was really low key, we went to dinner and watched a movie. The next day Lexie was really sad because he didn't blow out any candles. So we had strawberry shortcake and he blew out candles. Well he sort of blew out toothpicks on fire because I forgot to buy candles! Oh, the memories. JD and I are going to Brian Regan down in St. George in May to celebrate him turning OLD!

Now you know why it is hard to get a good picture of Lexie, she learned from the best!

Headboard

My headboard is finally finished! Awhile ago I found a headboard and plans that I wanted to make. JD was not sure about it but went along with it. He was not really sure about the whole thing but did his best to appease me. We built the whole thing in a day, but it took us forever to get back around to putting the finishing touches on it. We painted our room and this last week put everything together. I absolutely love it. It is what I had pictured the whole time. JD even likes it and is happy. He was great with helping, so thanks honey.

Easter Outfits

I decided to make the girls Easter dresses this year. I made them both pettiskirts. I made Lexie's first and made all the mistakes on it. Brynnlees was a whole lot easier to make. They both love them and look so cute in them. This picture isn't a very good one to show off the skirts but it is next to impossible to get them both to look at the camera at the same time.

Big Helper

About a week ago I was feeding Brynnlee when someone rang the doorbell. I went to get the door leaving Brynnlee in her chair. I came back to find Lexie feeding her. She had gotten the wet wipe box and after every bite she would wipe her face. I had a huge pile of dirty wet wipes and two happy girls. Lexie is such a big helper. She wants to do everything that I do with Brynnlee. She even wants to change stinking diapers!

Easter

We had a great Easter weekend. We headed down to St. George on Wednesday and stayed the whole weekend. It was gorgeous weather, Lexie was so excited to be outside. JD, me, Casey and Brett went mountain biking with my uncle Branch and his boys. It was really fun. It was my first time mountain biking. I loved it, I felt like I was a little kid again. We all had so much fun we went again on Saturday morning. The boys all went golfing and the girls went shopping and to lunch. The boys then went to Priesthood and we ate again and did more shopping. When they got home all the girls went to the late movie, The Last Song. It was good, I am pretty sure everyone cried. We went to the park, took walks, and of course had to do a little swimming. It was a great weekend, really hard to come home.

St. George Getaway

The girls and I went to St. George for a little spring fever get-a-way. Yes we left JD home to work (not very fun for him, but we had a blast). Casey and Tina and Tori were on Spring Break so we decided to head down to the South Land. It was gorgeous weather. We played outside, shopped and swam and then we did it all over again. My kind of vacation. It was really hard to come home.

Lexie, you can't go to St. George without stopping at Golden Spoon

Even Brynnlee enjoyed a little Golden Spoon
Lexie and Tori. Lexie had so much fun teasing her aunts and uncle.
Grandma bought a little golf set, she loved pulling it more than actually playing with it.
We discovered a really cool park, which Lexie loved.

Lexie is 3!

On March 14 Lexie turned 3! She has been looking forward to her birthday for along time. She kept telling everybody that she was turning 4 because all of her cousins are 4 and she wanted to be like them. We finally talked her into being just 3 for now. My parents, Casey, Tina and Tori came up on Saturday and spent the day with her. My parents took her shopping and she picked out a clubhouse that she now would love to live in. We went to her favorite place to eat, Pizzeria. On Sunday we had all JD's family and my Dad and Louise over for dinner and cake and ice cream. Lexie loved all of the attention.

Her fabulous cake. My amazingly talented friend Kamille decorated the cake. She did such a great job, Lexie was speechless when she saw it (that doesn't ever happen).
Grandpa and Grandma Parry gave Lexie her this mirror and makeup. Which she uses everyday to get ready now.
Grandpa and Grandma Johnson gave her this cute dress and shoes. She loves polka-dots!
Mom and Dad gave her a princess bike

Playing in her clubhouse, if you look close you can see all the lipgloss she has on. Everybody gave her makeup, specifically lipstick and lipgloss. Do they know Lexie or what.
