Keeping busy!

What to do while mom is getting things ready for girls camp?
Dress up in scraps of material
Build forts inside . . . .
and outside. We have had at least one fort up at all times for the last 3 months. Lexie loves forts and is getting pretty creative on making them.

Guess what this is?

No, no, it is not fingernail polish again! This time it is a whole tube of lipstick! She is obsessed with chap stick and lipstick. Lexie had been dressing up and forgot to put it back and of course Brynnlee found it.

Last Day of Preschool

Lexie has loved Preschool and Miss Lisa. I think she was ready for it to be over though. She was really excited when I told her it was her very last day. She is however very excited about Teacher Brandy and Teacher Tosha's Preschool next year. She is so excited to learn to read. She tells me she will read to Brynnlee ever day!

Lexie has learned to climb trees and was insistent that I put this picture on here.

Happy Birthday JD

This is a long overdue post but better late than never.
Way back when the Jazz were winning (first of the season) I had talked to my dad about going to a Jazz game for JD's birthday. Well then the Jazz started sucking it up, but nonetheless we went to the game and had a good time with my parents. The best part of the night was eating at Ruth's Chris (yes it was to die for). I had talked to Clay about getting us soccer tickets also, he got us great seats to the CONCACAF Championships game. It was a great night and a great game, it would have been better if they won. But it was still an awesome atmosphere. Thank you Kamille for watching our girls at the last minute! On his actual birthday we had a BBQ with our RAGNAR team, I did make him a snickers pie and we all sang to him.
JD and I at the soccer game. I forgot my camera for the Jazz game.

JD and the girls on his big day!
Now for just a little cheesiness, JD I love you, you are the best husband and father I could ever hope for. Thank you so much for all you do for us. Thanks for making life so fun, for making me laugh, and for taking care of us. We love you.

St. George, Friends and Babysitters!

Yes . . . all these things add up to a great weekend in sunny St. George. The Marshall's, Condie twins and us spent a long weekend in St. George. It was awesome. Lexie was not happy at all about riding in the very back, and then our DVD players stopped working when we were about to Provo. Needless to say it was a long drive but so worth it. Kelsee and Kylee were awesome and so good with the girls. They babysat while we went Mt. biking, shopping, to a movie and dinner! Yes, it was heaven. We took the girls hiking, swimming, played at the water park and of course for ice cream. All in all it was a fantastic weekend.
Lexie absolutely loves these girls. She loves to boss them around and insists that both of their names are Kelsee.
Brynnlee loves dirt. There was a little pile of sand in this cave that she just sprawled out it.

3 happy girls
B was in heaven at the little sand dunes. She could've played there for hours, to bad the wind was blowing like crazy.
We buried Lexie and then the wind started to blow really hard she started getting sand in her mouth and eyes. She was ready to go after that.
So excited to be done hiking.
Any place there was even a trace of sand B stopped to pick some up.
The best babysitters in the world. They did great with the kids.

Warm Day Happenings

We pulled the sink out and filled it up. What kid doesn't love making a mess with water!
They were both drenched by the time we went in the house.
Lexie trying to teach Brynnlee how to smell flowers.
JD tilled the garden and the girls couldn't wait to play in it.
We really need a sand box so they can play in dirt without smelling like turkey poop.
Brynnlee's new face!
Potato bugs tickle.
Lexie and Abby started a potato bug collection, this is them showing them off.
This is what happens when mom tries to take a shower!

Easter

We had a fabulous Easter weekend. We went to St. George hoping we would have warm weather, we were not disappointed. I took hundreds of pictures and the girls had a blast. We went mountain biking, which turned out to take longer than expected. Thank you Tina for watching the kids. We thought we were being really smart dropping a car off at the end of the trail so we wouldn't have to ride back up the trail. (this is what you would call lazy mountain biking) Well it would have been smart to take the keys to that car with us instead of leaving them in the car at the start of the trail! We got to the end of the trail and couldn't get into the car. So JD headed back up the trail to get the car. Kim and I headed back riding on the road. It was a great workout, but next time we will remember the keys.
We went golfing, yes my first time this year. I played horrible, when I say horrible I am not exaggerating. My ball managed to find the smallest sand trap ever! Golf is that stupid game were it can suck the whole time and then you hit that one perfect shot that feels so good, so of course it keeps you coming back. Luckily we played best ball and JD had a great game. It was so nice to be outside and doing something, so I will take a horrible game and nice weather.
We did a little shopping, played games, went swimming and then had to come home to awful depressing weather. On our way home Lexie kept saying "It would be so awesome to live in St. George. Why do we have to leave nice weather?"
We are so ready for Spring/Summer at our house!
We went to the water park on Main Street and let the girls play.
They played for about an hour and would have stayed longer if we let them.
Once Brynnlee got in the water it was so hard to get her out.
Parry Girls
The whole fam
We did an eater egg hunt for the girls on Saturday
Brynnlee caught on really fast.
Pleased with the outcome.
Yeah, we may have went overboard on the eggs and candy.
They had some much fun. Now what to do with all that candy?
B went down this slide over and over again all by herself. She is getting so big and independent.
She loves to copy dad. The only way to get her off the slide was to have her copy dad.
Payton and Lexie have so much fun playing together.
I just thought this was a great picture.
Decorating and dying eggs, messy but entertaining.
B loved the baskets themselves more than what was in them.
The Easter Bunny hid Lexie's basket really good this year. It took her a while to find it, but she eventually did. Her favorite things were gum and dart guns.
We went to the park to enjoy the weather. B loved throwing the ball at Casey.

She may be little . . .

But she sure is a handful!
Can this sweet little face cause so much trouble, seriously look how sweet and innocent she looks!
I say to you "YES"! She is into everything. I thought Lexie was a busy body and into everything. Well I was wrong, Brynnlee is into everything! She never just stops and sits. She is constantly going and moving.
I was getting ready for church yesterday. She was out of my site for maybe 3 minutes and I come out to find this! Yes, my kitchen chair covered in PERMANENT marker. Thank goodness for Mr. Clean Magic Eraser got it right off.
