Easter

We had a great Easter weekend. We headed down to St. George on Wednesday and stayed the whole weekend. It was gorgeous weather, Lexie was so excited to be outside. JD, me, Casey and Brett went mountain biking with my uncle Branch and his boys. It was really fun. It was my first time mountain biking. I loved it, I felt like I was a little kid again. We all had so much fun we went again on Saturday morning. The boys all went golfing and the girls went shopping and to lunch. The boys then went to Priesthood and we ate again and did more shopping. When they got home all the girls went to the late movie, The Last Song. It was good, I am pretty sure everyone cried. We went to the park, took walks, and of course had to do a little swimming. It was a great weekend, really hard to come home.

St. George Getaway

The girls and I went to St. George for a little spring fever get-a-way. Yes we left JD home to work (not very fun for him, but we had a blast). Casey and Tina and Tori were on Spring Break so we decided to head down to the South Land. It was gorgeous weather. We played outside, shopped and swam and then we did it all over again. My kind of vacation. It was really hard to come home.

Lexie, you can't go to St. George without stopping at Golden Spoon

Even Brynnlee enjoyed a little Golden Spoon
Lexie and Tori. Lexie had so much fun teasing her aunts and uncle.
Grandma bought a little golf set, she loved pulling it more than actually playing with it.
We discovered a really cool park, which Lexie loved.

Lexie is 3!

On March 14 Lexie turned 3! She has been looking forward to her birthday for along time. She kept telling everybody that she was turning 4 because all of her cousins are 4 and she wanted to be like them. We finally talked her into being just 3 for now. My parents, Casey, Tina and Tori came up on Saturday and spent the day with her. My parents took her shopping and she picked out a clubhouse that she now would love to live in. We went to her favorite place to eat, Pizzeria. On Sunday we had all JD's family and my Dad and Louise over for dinner and cake and ice cream. Lexie loved all of the attention.

Her fabulous cake. My amazingly talented friend Kamille decorated the cake. She did such a great job, Lexie was speechless when she saw it (that doesn't ever happen).
Grandpa and Grandma Parry gave Lexie her this mirror and makeup. Which she uses everyday to get ready now.
Grandpa and Grandma Johnson gave her this cute dress and shoes. She loves polka-dots!
Mom and Dad gave her a princess bike

Hiding in the clubhouse Grandpa and Grandma Cox gave her
She got to blow out a candle when G & G Cox were up visiting
Playing in her clubhouse, if you look close you can see all the lipgloss she has on. Everybody gave her makeup, specifically lipstick and lipgloss. Do they know Lexie or what.

Disney on Ice

We went to Disney on Ice. My sister-in-law Julie had extra tickets and so Lexie and I tagged along with her and her girls. It was fun to get out with just the girls (minus Brynnlee of course). We went to dinner and then to the show. Lexie loved it. From the time we walked in to the time we left she was entertained. She didn't much care for the dads (the princes, yes she thinks prince Eric is Aerials dad). Once she got her cotton candy she was set to watch the whole show.

Discovery Gateway

A couple weeks ago me and the girls met up with my friend Randi and her little boy Tanner. We went to Discovery Gateway. We were both sick of being cooped up in the house all winter and the kids needed to run. This was a great idea. Although we didn't get very much talking done, due to the fact we were chasing our kids everywhere. It was great to see her and catch up on what we could. It was also great to let the kids out and play.
Brynnlee even got some playing time in with big sis Lexie
If you haven't played with Magfomers before you are missing out. Lexie got some for Christmas and absolutely loves them. She loved at Discovery they had tons more than she has.
She actually liked the helicopter this time.
She still loved playing in the store and shopping (I have no idea were she got the gene from)!

Random things we have been doing . . . .

We are all doing good and just can't wait for Spring to come. Lexie needs to be outside were see can run and be loud and get dirty. We need the nice fresh air so we can all be healthy and stay healthy. Here is a little of what we have been doing lately.
Lexie loves her daddy and tries to imitate him all the time
No more naps, but once in awhile I get lucky and find her like this.
She helped me make a chocolate cake and then licked the bowl and spoons
(Didn't rotate sorry) Brynnlee is getting bigger and happier! She smiles so easy and loves to play. She is so ticklish. She love, loves her feet and chewing on anything she can get in her mouth.
Lexie being safe (helmet) on her bouncy bouncy ball.
A couple ruffle bum onies I made.
Bow and flower hangers I made for Brynnlees room.
These two crafts doubled my V-day decor. My friend Kamille and I got a little craft bug and made these.

These are in the wrong order but we got new hardware for our kitchen. We got rid of the ugly white knobs I hated and now our kitchen looks so much better.
I also painted our island black

Brynnlee 6 months old

Brynnlee is almost 7 months old but we just did her 6 month appointment last week. She is a whoppin' 13 lbs 6 oz. She is now in the 2.5%, I know we do have a little chunk on our hands! The good news is her growth curve is perfect, so as long as she doesn't have a dip or go backwards on it she is good to go. We finally got her on a new medication for her acid reflux and some new bottles. The combination of the two seems to be working. She still spits up of course but it is not half her bottle any more. She is getting better at laying on the floor and playing (I think this is because she is not in as much pain any more). She still hates her tummy and only rolls over once in awhile. She is sitting up and loves playing with her toes.
Lexie still is very much a hands on sister and tries to do everything for her. She thinks she is big enough to carry her and really do anything that I do. I still can't leave them alone in a room together even for a second. I always come back in to Lexie trying to sit her up, get her off the bed, get her out of the crib, get her to dance, stand her up, feed her a bottle that she has made, change her clothes, or change her diaper. Yes, Lexie has tried to do all of these things.
We have to beautiful girls and couldn't be more happy. Pictures of Pres. Day and Valentines will be coming shortly my computer is being difficult.
